Kennewick, Pasco, and now Richland.

Hello everyone!

Well we just got our transfer call. And I am getting transferred. I am going to be serving in another English ward in Richland. So I'm not going very far. And after this I will have served in all three cities in tri-cities: Kennewick, then Pasco and now Richland! To be honest, I did not see it coming. I think I saw that every time that I get transferred  But I was really hoping that I would stay in this area. But I guess it's time to got again! I'm going to serve with Elder Malcom. I've served around him a little bit and he's really great. I'm really looking forward to serving with him. I was also expecting to train for these last two transfers, but I guess the Lord has different plans.

This last Saturday, one of the wards in the zone put on a luau! And it was a huge missionary opportunity for everyone in the zone so we invited a bunch of our investigators to it. There was such a huge turnout. It was probably the most well attended event I've ever seen on my mission. There were SO many people there. We even had Cierra come and Heather and her kids came as well! It was so cool. They had a really good time and Heather told us that she wants to come to church!

Heather is doing really well. We had some amazing lessons with her this last week. We had the Bishop come with us to one and we talked all about the Atonement and finding peace and relief of guilt through the Atonement. It was such a spiritually powerful lesson, it was a very joyful experience. We showed Heather the mormon message, "The Will of God". It's one of my favorite ones and it really helped her a lot. It's going to be a bummer not being able to teach her anymore but she will be in good hands!

Cierra is also doing great. We had a lesson with her this last week which consisted only of her asking us questions about what she had read in the Book of Mormon and us answering them. It was so great. Cierra is really getting into the Book of Mormon. She's not just reading it, but she's actually studying it and seeking to understand. All of the questions she asked were so good and showed that really does want to learn. I'm so excited for her and the decisions that she's been making. It has been such a thrill to see her change and grow over time by living the doctrine of Christ.

Here's my scripture for this week: Alma 34:9

"For it is expedient that an atonement should be made; for according to the great plan of the Eternal God there must be an atonement made, or else all mankind must unavoidably perish; yea, all are hardened; yea, all are fallen and are lost, and must perish except it be through the atonement which it is expedient should be made."

I am so grateful for the Atonement in my life. I have had to rely on it a lot these last several months and it gives me strength every day. That's one of the things that the mission has taught me the most. Relying on the Atonement to receive strength to accomplish the things that I normally wouldn't be able to without it.

I hope that all of you have an amazing week. I love you all!
